LOCATION: The vibrant LV Headquarters is nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Bournemouth
SCOPE OF WORK: To design, manufacture, and install an iconic 2.5-metre green heart sculpture, a bold, bespoke structure that would serve as a permanent outdoor landmark. The heart was to be both a symbol of brand identity and a statement of presence, engineered to endure the elements and engage the public.
INTRODUCTION IN BRIEF
The client: LV, in partnership with their creative agency Etrinsic, approached Hayward GRP with an ambitious brief: to bring to life a large, freestanding heart sculpture that would sit proudly outside their headquarters. The structure needed to be visually striking, instantly recognisable, and structurally sound for a minimum of ten years, able to resist weather, wear, and public interaction.
What they needed wasn’t just a fabricator. They needed a specialist, a team who could interpret the creative concept, manage the technical complexity, and deliver with total confidence. Hayward GRP was selected for our deep expertise in GRP engineering, high-impact branding structures, and project delivery from start to finish.
OUR SOLUTION AND OBJECTIVES
Hayward GRP responded with a fully managed, end-to-end solution. Our team began with a detailed site assessment and technical review, followed by precision CAD design, structural calculations, and presentation visuals for client approval. With sign-off in place, we produced a CNC-milled master pattern and production mould to create the vibrant fibreglass heart and its supporting plinth.
But our work didn’t stop there. We engineered and fabricated the structural and foundation steelwork, managed ground preparation, executed the on-site installation, and oversaw the final landscaping. The entire project was delivered under our turnkey service model, with a 10-year structural guarantee for complete peace of mind.
