SCOPE OF WORKS: Our remit was to design, manufacture and supply a complete range of GRP enclosures, access doors, and integral work surfaces across the full MR Solutions scanner range.
INTRODUCTION IN BRIEF
The client: MR Solutions sought a specialist GRP manufacturer with a proven track record of delivering projects efficiently and to the highest of standards. The brief required the development of a fully integrated range of GRP enclosure, doors and work surfaces, all tailored to meet the mechanical, ergonomic, and system requirements of their latest MRI range.
The final specification called for a refined, split-colour finish in a fine satin texture, balancing functional durability with clinical-grade aesthetics.
OUR SOLUTION AND OBJECTIVES
MR Solutions entrusted Hayward GRP with the task of manufacturing the new range of split colour enclosures for their MRI Scanners. The scope included design refinements, detailed CAD drawings, and construction samples showcasing final finishes.
On securing client approval, our team manufactured CNC-milled master patterns and production tooling. We then produced prototypes of the GRP enclosures, doors, and work surfaces, rigorously evaluating each moulding to ensure they met with the clients exacting specifications.
The prototypes not only satisfied but surpassed expectation in both form and function, allowing us to proceed into volume manufacture in accordance with MR Solutions’ phased installation schedule
THE RESULT IN CONCLUSION
This was a rewarding endeavour for the Hayward GRP team. We worked collaboratively with MR Solutions to deliver the ultra-precise split colour enclosures for their new MRI Scanner range. As part of our service, our team visited the client’s facilities to install the first enclosures, ensuring the fit and functionality met our high standards.
