PROJECT LOCATION: Hayward GRP has proudly partnered with MR Solutions for many years, serving as their primary supplier of split-colour GRP covers for their advanced MRI Scanner series.
THE RIDE: Our mission: to design and manufacture the next generation of GRP covers for MR Solutions’ newest MRI systems. A project combining technical mastery with innovative moulding craftsmanship.
INTRODUCTION IN BRIEF
Given MR Solutions’ long-standing collaboration with Hayward GRP, we were the natural choice for developing and delivering the latest GRP panels for their upcoming MRI Scanners.
The new panels were specified to meet modern expectations, sleek with smooth gloss finishes which provide hygienic low maintenance surfaces for ease of cleaning.
The eight individual precision double-A surface components had to integrate seamlessly, aligning to critical B-surface geometries for perfect chassis and magnet assembly fitment.
OUR SOLUTION AND OBJECTIVES
MR Solutions entrusted Hayward GRP with the task of creating the modular bodywork for their new innovative MRI Scanner. Our comprehensive project proposal included detailed CAD drawings, precision CNC milled master patterns, and production moulds.
To guarantee the precise fitting of our GRP panels, we also designed a full set of machined fixtures for B-surface connection and alignment. This meticulous approach led to the production of high-quality, precision GRP panels with a premium high gloss finish straight from the mould.
