Fashion Gallery 40 – Fibreglass Lighting & Ceiling Features

Fashion Gallery 40 within London’s world famous Victoria & Albert museum, this was a very interesting project for the Hayward Grp Team. Collaboratively working with the project architects, our brief was to provide design assistance, FEA, calculations, all precision tooling, and of course the three large GRP Lighting rings which would illuminate the exhibitions on the mezzanine level of gallery 40.

Each fibreglass moulded ring was over nine meters in diametre and would be suspended from the spectacular domed ceiling. The rings not only gave the large space a fabulous feature piece but also provided a platform for all of the lighting to eliminate the exhibits from.
