Air traffic control tower Radar dome

This was a great project for the Hayward Grp team, after meetings with Tex ATC a market leader in VCR’s (Visual Control rooms) for Air traffic control towers, we where privileged to be awarded the contract to manufacture the new 8 metre diametre radar dome that would be installed 300ft up on top of the new Air control tower in the Muscat International Airport project in Oman, our team provided design assistance and calculations, precision patterns and moulds, and of course the 8 metre diametre dome that was manufactured in ten segments including a door for access , we carried out a full test build in our factory for the client to inspect and evaluate prior to exporting the dome out to Oman, our team also attended site in Muscat to provide the Tex ATC team with build assistance…
